  • "Catholic doctrine tells us that the primary duty of charity does not lie in the toleration of false ideas, however sincere they may be, nor in the theoretical or practical indifference towards the errors and vices in which we see our brethren plunged . . . Further, whilst Jesus was kind to sinners and to those who went astray, He did not respect their false ideas, however sincere they might have appeared. He loved them all, but He instructed them in order to convert them and save them."

The Catholic Faith

Page(s) under construction…

“And Jesus answering, said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in Heaven.  And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  And I will give to thee the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in Heaven.”
Matthew 16:17-19

And thus Christ established His Church. I present here the teachings of the Catholic Church to the best of my ability (yes, I have a degree in Theology… see “About the Blog Author“).  Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, Papal, and Conciliar documents will demonstrate the official teachings of the Catholic Church.
